Oyebanji, also known as Tunji, has been the Chairman and Managing Director of Mobil Oil Nigeria plc since October 21, 2008.Mr. Oyebanji joined Mobil in 1980 with a varied career in Sales, Marketing and Planning in Exxon Mobil affiliates in Africa, Europe and USA. He has been a Director of Mobil Oil Nigeria plc since June 01, 2005. He served as Director of Mobil Oil Nigeria plc from June 2005 to March 2006.

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the University of Lagos, and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from City University, London. He received Advanced Leadership Program from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona USA in 2007.
